Also known as indirect fillings (created with CEREC technology) , which are used when a tooth has a mild to moderate decay or there isn’t enough tooth structure to support a filling. Provided there is no damage to the tooth points, the inlay is placed directly onto the tooth surface. However when the points of the crown or a greater portion of the tooth is damaged an onlay or overlay is used instead to cover the tooth’s entire surface.
Inlays and onlays are made at OptiSmile from composite resin material and attached to the teeth with adhesive dental cement. They provide support to strengthen your teeth, restore their shape and avoid any further deterioration or decay.
Composite bonding refers to the repair of decayed, damaged or discolored teeth using material that resembles the color of tooth enamel. At OptiSmile we use our Leica microscope to detect the problem, remove the tooth decay and then apply the composite onto the tooth’s surface. This effectively covers the damage to the tooth and gives the appearance of a healthy tooth in its place. Bonding is one of the less expensive cosmetic dentistry procedures available to patients with tooth decay, chipped, cracked or broken teeth.

Dental implants are used to replace teeth after a tooth loss. Firstly we use our Orthophos 3D X-Ray to view and identify the point that a small titanium screw will be inserted into the jaw. The screw will serve as the support for a crown. The implants are almost indistinguishable from the surrounding natural teeth, and once the bone and supporting tissue fuse to the implant, they are permanently secured into place.
